Step 1: Planning

To begin our website design process we of course need to know what we're building! We start by asking you some important questions including:

- Who you are
- Who your customers are
- Are your looking for emails and phone cals or selling online
- What features and pages do you want to include??
- What makes your business unique?

Once we have collected all of the initial information from you, we will then take it several steps further on our end and start to identity:

- What kind of look will your customers respond to?
- Which elements needs to be planed in which positions to steer the visitors throughout the website.
- Which elements are persuation elements and which are direct conversion actions

Step 2: Site Map & Page Structure

Now that we know how we want your your visitors to think, feel and take action as they move through the website, we will lay out the sitemap and page structures. This is essentially where we decide how each page will link to the next and what the nagivation menu(s) will be. This step is crucial to ensuring that the website is user friendly and easy to navigate.

Once the maps is in place, we'll start putting pen to paper and sketching out the actual look of each page. In getting a feel for the basic wireframe of the website, it's creative design time!

Step 3: Custom Creative

OK. We know who the visitor is and how they will move threough the website, now it's time to impress them! The creative design aspect in an important one and should not be taken lightly! A professional look to your website shows your visitors that you take both their time and your business seriously. You wouldn't hand a customer a business card written in lipstick on a napkin would you? For the same reason, we take great care to ensure that the colors, layout and overall creative look of the website now match your company image and style. It's also the part where we get to have some fun with pictures, colors and go Photoshop crazy!

Step 4: Site Build, Testing & Launch!

Once the creative has been approved, we cut everything up and transfer what is now a picture of your website into an actual functioning website. The content that you have written is dropped into each page and neatly organized to steer your customers toward the end goal identified in step one.  This is usually built on a content management system such as Joomla so that you can manage all of your content quickly and easily.

Once the website is built, everything is tested from top to bottom to ensure that we didn't miss anything and the website is go for launch!

In this final step we will also:

- Optimize the website for search engines
- Create and setup your free Google Analytics account
- Install Google Analytics into each page of the website
